Megan G. Oprea is the editor of Inbound and a Senior Contributor at The Federalist, where she writes on topics including foreign policy, national security, Islam and the West, and terrorism. Oprea's writing has also been featured in The Guardian, National Review, The Washington Free Beacon, and The National Interest.
Oprea holds a B.A. in French and Philosophy from Hillsdale College, and an M.A. and a Ph.D. in French Linguistics from the University of Texas at Austin. Her dissertation focused on the linguistic, national, and religious identity of second-generation North African immigrants in France. She was a 2017 Lincoln Fellow at The Claremont Institute.
